The global Wave of Light is an opportunity to join with bereaved parents, families and friends around the globe to commemorate all babies who sadly died too soon.  It takes place at 7pm on 15 October.     

To join the global ‘Wave of Light’ this year we ask you to donate £10 and light a 'Vigil' candle on this page at 7pm local time on 15 October. This candle will burn for a year until the Wave of Light 2022. You are also able to light a candle that burns for a day, a week or a month and leave a message in memory of a baby or toddler. 

Each year thousands of babies die before, during or shortly after birth, shattering the lives of expectant parents, their families and their friends. The vast majority of babies who die suddenly and unexpectedly are under six months old. However, every year a very small number of older babies and toddlers (over the age of one) also die suddenly and unexpectedly.

Baby Loss Awareness Week (#babyloss), which takes place annually from 9 to 15 October, is an opportunity for our supporters to acknowledge and remember their precious babies.
